Editorial & Corrections Policy
Our mission
Summary delivers news and analysis on Egyptian, Arab and international affairs, condensing complex events into focused episodes that give viewers the full picture in minutes.
Our principles
- Accuracy: we verify information from more than one source where possible and clearly distinguish news from analysis and opinion.
- Independence: the channel is independent and receives no funding from any government or political party. Advertising on the site does not influence editorial content.
- Source transparency: news summaries in the News section come from reputable outlets; each page names the source and links to the original article.
- Balance: we present differing viewpoints on contested issues.
Analysis and opinion
Analytical episodes reflect the presenter’s reading of events based on information available at recording time; assessments may change as new facts emerge.
Corrections
If published content is found to be inaccurate we correct it as quickly as possible and note the change. To report an error, email info@summaryegy.com with the page or episode link and a description of the issue.
Advertising and sponsorship
Any paid or sponsored content is clearly labelled. Programmatic ads (Google AdSense) appear in spaces separate from editorial content.
Use of AI
We may use AI tools to assist with tasks such as transcription or content organisation, with human review before publication.
